Coffee against hepatitis!

Coffee may prevent complications and to stop the worsening of symptoms in people suffering from hepatitis C and severe liver disease.

Research on patients in whom a normal antiviral therapy is no longer showing the effect this has proved the positive effect of black liquor.

Unlike coffee, drinking black or green tea has a positive impact on the disease. Scientists have studied 770 patients with hepatic impairment, who are no longer responsive to normal antiviral therapy. In patients who drank at least three daily cups of coffee has been shown that the risk of spreading the disease over the next four years to less than half the patients who did not drink coffee. Patients who drank tea had a protective effect on the liver, which proved to be the coffee.

Although scientists can not exclude that it is possible that there are other factors, the results show that patients who consumed coffee had a lower risk of worsening. According to World Health Organization (WHO), a year is about four million people infected with hepatitis C. In 70% of patients the disease becomes chronic and can evolve into cirrhosis or liver cancer.

Patients who drank tea had no protection it did not have a protective effect of coffee and have a significantly higher risk of liver disease or hepatitis.
